What is Comfy Max & how can I activate it?

Comfy Max transforms Cielo Breez Max into a true smart thermostat for your mini-split. It enables your mini-split to work in a configurable and intelligent mode. With Comfy Max, your indoor environment remains consistently comfortable, eliminating the need for constant manual temperature adjustments.

Working of Comfy Max:

In Comfy Max, you just have to set your desired heating and cooling setpoints, and Breez Max will take care of the rest. It uses AI-based intelligent algorithms to adjust setpoints, fan speed, and mode of the mini-split to maintain your predefined room temperature and prevent overheating/overcooling.

Suppose your preferred setpoints are 70F (for heating) and 75F (for cooling). As soon as your room temperature falls below 70F, Comfy Max will initiate heating, and above 75F, it will start cooling. Let’s assume your room temperature drops to 69F. Since it is below your preferred temperature (i.e., 70F), Comfy Max will signal your mini-split to start heating.

Now, your mini-split setpoint could be any value above 70F that is defined by Comfy Max, depending on the particular room temperature, outdoor weather conditions, and time to achieve the setpoint, among various other parameters. Your Breez Max will keep observing the room temperature with its in-built sensors, and as soon as it reaches 70F, it will signal your mini-split to minimize the heating. The new setpoint will ensure your mini-split compressor is only running on minimal power to maintain the desired room temperature.  

Setting Up Comfy Max:

You can set up Comfy Max for your air conditioner/heat pump by performing these steps via the Cielo Home app:

Step 1: On the Home screen, tap on the mini-split you want to set comfy max on.

Step 2: Tap on ‘eSaver’ in the navigation bar.

Step 3: Tap on 'Comfy Max'.

Step 4: Tap on ‘Add Template’ to set up Comfy Max.

Step 5: Choose your preferred temperature setpoints, and select whether you want the fan to run (for air circulation) after your desired cooling temperature is reached. Add a name for this template and tap on ‘Done’.

Step 6: Your Comfy Max settings are now saved. You can turn Comfy Max 'On' from the toggle next to the name of the Comfy Max template.

Scheduling Comfy Max:

To schedule Comfy Max, you need to save at least one template setting for Comfy Max in the app (as explained in the previous section).  After you have done that, follow the steps below to schedule your Comfy Max.  

Step 1: On the Home screen, tap on the mini-split you want to schedule.

Step 2: Tap on ‘Schedule’ in the navigation bar.

Step 3: Tap on ‘+ Add Schedule’.

Step 4: Select ‘Comfy Max Schedule’.
Step 5: Select the time and day(s) and choose whether you want to set it as a repeat schedule. Then, select your desired Comfy Max template.

Once the Comfy Max schedule is set, it will appear on the schedules tab. You can enable/disable it by toggling the slider against the schedule.
