Yes, you can easily install & register the Breez Plus device by yourself. Breez Plus can be powered up using a 5V adapter (always use the provided power adapter and USB cable for optimal results) or through 24V wired connection option.
Note: Before finalizing the placement, it is recommended to first power up, register, and test the device to ensure signals can easily reach the AC.
For optimal placement and control
- Make sure Breez Plus is in the line of sight of your air conditioner or heat pump.
- To avoid deviated sensor readings, do not place Breez Plus where it may be exposed to excessive sunlight or other heat sources.
Note: It is strongly advised that whenever there is a need to use the remote control for AC/heat pump, point it towards Breez Plus while performing any action. This way, your AC/heat pump, and Cielo Home app will always be in sync.
Prior to App Installation
For your phone:
- Make sure your smartphone’s Bluetooth is turned ON.
- Make sure your smartphone’s Wi-Fi is turned ON.
- Make sure your smartphone has internet access.
For your Wi-Fi router:
- Make sure you have a working internet connection on your Wi-Fi router.
- Make sure there is no proxy server or authentication server configured on your internet connection.
- Make sure there is no captive portal on your Wi-Fi router.
- Make sure IP isolation or client isolation is turned OFF on your Wi-Fi router.
App Installation & Registration
Install the ‘Cielo Home’ app from the App Store.
Log in to the app if you already have an account; otherwise, create one using the sign-up option.
Step 1: After a successful login, you will be on the home screen. Tap the 'Add Device' button, as shown in the red box.
Step 2: Select 'Cielo Breez Plus' from the list of devices.
Step 3: Power on the Cielo Device and press ‘Next’.
Step 4: Go to the Wi-Fi settings of your phone.
Step 5: Select the Cielo Device (Cielo_xxxx_xxxxxx) from the Wi-Fi list.
Step 6: Come back to the Cielo Home App.
Step 7: Your phone will show the list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select your preferred Wi-Fi network from the list to proceed further.
Step 9: Customize your device with a name of your choice (for example, Bedroom, Lounge, Office, etc.). Then tap on 'Done'.
Step 10: Your device has been configured successfully. Tap on ‘Done. ’
Step 11: After successful configuration, your device will display on your home screen.
Step 12: Once the circle around the AC icon is green, tap on it to start the AC remote control configuration process. If the circle around the AC icon is not green, refresh the screen by swiping downwards.
Step 13: Get hold of your AC remote and tap ‘Next’.
Step 14: Point your AC remote at Breez Max and press the remote’s ‘Power button’ once. It will start the configuration process.
Step 15: Your remote is now paired with Breez Max. Tap on ‘Done’.
