In vacation properties, guests often set the mini-split to extremely low or high temperatures and leave it running for long periods, which leads to high energy bills.
The Temperature Range Lock feature on Breez Edge lets you define a minimum and maximum temperature limit for your unit. This ensures guests can only adjust the temperature within your approved range.
With Temperature Range Lock, you can:
- Maintain indoor comfort while reducing energy costs.
- Set operational limits without completely removing guests' access.
How to Set the Temperature Range Lock on Breez Edge
Step 1: On the Home screen, tap 'More' to access additional settings.
Step 2: Tap on ‘eSaver’ in the navigation bar.
Step 3: Tap on 'Range Temperature Lock'.
Step 4: Toggle the slider to enable the range lock, as shown in the red box.
Step 5: Choose your preferred temperature range. Tap on 'Done'.
Step 6: Now, the device control screen temperature slider will be restricted to the temperature range specified. The white region on the temperature slider is inaccessible.
🚨Important
Applying Temperature Range Lock will result in the following:
- Comfy Max, if enabled, will be auto-adjusted.
- Preset setpoints will be auto-adjusted.
- Geofencing/ location-based triggers will be disabled.
- Any active links in Cielo Linked that are outside the range will be auto-adjusted.
