There may be two cases where Device might go in Wi-Fi broadcast mode even after you have successfully configured it with your Wi-Fi connection.
Case 1
The distance range between Device and Wi-Fi router is far and the Device is not getting the Wi-Fi signals.
Solution: The signal strength of the configured Wi-Fi connection will be displayed on the Device. Very low signal strength on display means that it is placed far away from the Wi-Fi router. Place Device near your Air-Conditioner and at a reasonable range to receive Wi-Fi signals from the router. To reconfigure Device, go to your phone’s Wi-Fi settings and connect to the device and go back to Cielo Home app, follow the instructions mentioned below:
Step 1: On the home screen, tap on “wrench" of the device you want to change Wi-Fi network for.
Step 2: In Device settings tap on “Device Wi-Fi”, then tap on “Change Wi-Fi”. A list of available Wi-Fi networks around the device will appear.
Step 3: Choose your desired Wi-Fi network, enter its password to complete the Wi-Fi configuration process.
Case 2
The Wi-Fi network to which Device was previously configured is unavailable or its password has been changed.
Solution: Device will automatically disconnect from the Wi-Fi network and will go in Wi-Fi broadcast mode. To reconfigure Device with your Wi-Fi connection, follow the instructions mentioned below:
Step 1: On the home screen, tap on “wrench" of the device you want to change Wi-Fi network for.
Step 2: In Device settings tap on “Device Wi-Fi”, then tap on “Change Wi-Fi”. A list of available Wi-Fi networks around the device will appear.
Step 3: Choose your desired Wi-Fi network, enter its password to complete the Wi-Fi configuration process.
