The Air Filter Status feature helps you monitor the condition of your air filter, so you'll know exactly when it needs cleaning or replacement. This ensures your mini-split, window, or portable unit runs efficiently and maintains good air quality in your home.
The Cielo Home app uses a percentage scale to indicate the filter’s condition:
- 0–50%: Filter is clean ✅
- 51–80%: Needs attention soon ⚠️
- 81–100%: Due for cleaning❗
The percentage increases with use and resets once you mark the filter as cleaned.
Checking the Air Filter Status Using the Cielo Home App
Step 1: On the Home screen, tap 'More' to access additional settings.
Step 2: Tap on eSaver in the navigation bar.
Step 3: Tap on 'Air Filter.'
Step 4: You will see your current air filter status since registration (or since the last cleaning). If usage is 81% or higher, remove the air filter and clean it. Once the filter is dry, place it back into your unit. Open your Cielo Home app and tap on 'Mark as Cleaned'.
Step 5: After you have marked the filter as cleaned, the status resets to 0%, and the app begins a new tracking cycle.
💡Tip: Set a Reminder
You can set the number of usage hours after which you'd like to be notified for the next filter cleaning. The Cielo Home App will send timely notifications to help you stay on top of air conditioner maintenance.
