All Cielo smart devices are compatible with IFTTT. To configure your device with IFTTT, follow the instructions given below:
In order to use the IFTTT app, you'll need an IFTTT account. If you already have an account, that's perfect. If you don't already have one, please create an IFTTT account and log in to move further.
Step 1: Open the IFTTT app, tap on explore, and search for "Cielo" (or visit: Cielo's IFTTT Channel). Tap on the Cielo Home icon and tap Connect.
Step 2: You will be asked to authorize the connection of your Cielo Home account to IFTTT. Tap Authorize to continue.
Step 3: Enter your Cielo Home credentials and select Sign In.
Once your Cielo Home account is successfully connected to IFTTT, you can use the existing applets or create one on your own.
Existing Applets:
Here are some examples of what you can do with the existing applets.
- Power off Cielo smart device if Smart Home Solution detects that home is empty.
- Power on Cielo smart device if Weather Underground detects higher humidity than the threshold.
- Power off Cielo smart device when Fort Collins Utility reports peak hours.
