What Is Auto Mode?
In Auto Mode, Cielo Smart Thermostat Eco automatically switches between heating and cooling to maintain your preferred indoor temperature. This is especially useful during seasons with fluctuating temperatures like spring and fall.
How Alexa Responds in Auto Mode
When your thermostat is in Auto Mode, you can use a voice command like:
🗣️ “Alexa, set [Thermostat name] to [number] degrees.”
When your Cielo Smart Thermostat Eco is set to Auto Mode, Alexa will adjust both the heating and cooling setpoints so that your preferred temperature is the midpoint between the two.
For instance:
- Heating setpoint: 70°F
- Cooling setpoint: 74°F
The thermostat will then work to keep your home temperature centered around 72°F, switching between heat and cool as needed.
