If you’ve updated your home network or switched to a new router, you can easily change the Wi-Fi connection for your Cielo Smart Thermostat either from the device itself or via the Cielo Home App.
🚨 Important
- Cielo Smart Thermostat only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. It will not connect to 5 GHz networks.
- Make sure your smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi network you are connecting your Cielo Smart Thermostat with.
- Make sure your Wi-Fi signal is strong and stable to avoid disconnection issues later.
Changing Wi-Fi Using the Device
Step 1: Go to 'Menu' and select 'Wi-Fi'.
Step 2: Select 'Change Wi-Fi'.
Step 3: You can either change Wi-Fi on the device or use the Cielo Home app.;
In this case, tap on ‘Change Wi-Fi’ here. It will start scanning, and a list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear.
Step 4: Select your desired Wi-Fi network.
Step 5: Enter the password and tap 'Connect'.
Step 6: Tap 'Finish'.
Changing Wi-Fi Using Cielo Home App
Step 1: Now open the Cielo Home app. On the Control Screen, tap on the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right corner.
Step 2: Tap on ‘Device Wi-Fi.'
Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions. Tap 'Continue'.
Step 4: Go to 'Menu' on your Cielo Smart Thermostat.
Step 5: Tap on 'Wi-Fi.'
Step 6: Tap on 'Change Wi-Fi.'
Step 7: Select 'Change Wi-Fi using App.' It will start the Wi-Fi configuration.
Step 8: Go to Cielo Home App and tap 'Continue.' It will start searching for your smart thermostat. It will take a few seconds. Tap ‘Connect’ to proceed.
Step 9: Choose your desired internet connection and enter your password to connect the smart thermostat to the internet.
