You have to configure how the O/B valve is energized:
On Cool
The thermostat will energize the reversing valve during a cooling cycle.
On Heat
The thermostat will energize the reversing value during a heating cycle.
With the Cielo Smart Thermostat, you can customize this setting to match your system’s requirements, ensuring smooth operation and efficient temperature control.
📢 Note: Most Heat Pumps energize the O/B Reversing Valve on the ON COOl settings.
Configuring O/B Reversing Valve in Cielo Smart Thermostat
Step 1: Go to 'Menu' and select 'HVAC Settings'.
Step 2: Select 'HVAC System'.
Step 3: Tap on ‘Heat Pump Preferences’.
Step 4: Select how your O/B valve is energized - On Cool or On Heat. (Tap on the tooltip to learn about these settings.)

Step 1: On the Control Screen, tap on the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right corner.
Step 2: Tap on 'HVAC Settings'.
