How do I test my HVAC system with Cielo Smart Thermostat?

Cielo Smart Thermostat provides a convenient way to test your HVAC system through the Cielo Home app. 

Note: It's advisable to test your unit before seasonal transitions to ensure it operates efficiently. Checking the heating function as summer winds down ensures it's ready for colder temperatures. Testing your cooling system in the the spring ensures it’s in good shape before the onset of summer. This proactive approach helps maintain your system's performance, allowing you to address any issues promptly if they arise.

Step 1: On the Control Screen, tap on the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right corner.

Step 2: Tap on ‘Device Preferences.’

Step 3: Go to ‘HVAC Settings’. 

Step 4: Tap on ‘Test Equipment’.

Step 5: Tap ‘Yes’ to proceed. 

The options shown on the Test Equipment screen will vary based on your configured equipment. For instance, if you only have a heat pump, the available options will differ from when you have both a heat pump and auxiliary heat connected.

Next, you will find the system components available for testing (depending on your configured equipment). You can select a particular function to test, such as the fan, heating, cooling, or auxiliary stages 1 and 2. Simply click on ‘Test’ to initiate the testing process.
