Reconfiguring equipment allows you to update or change your HVAC setup after installation. This is useful if you have made any wiring changes, added new equipment, or want to confirm that your thermostat is detecting all wires connected to your system.
You can reconfigure your equipment either directly on the Cielo Smart Thermostat or through the Cielo Home app.
Reconfigure HVAC Equipment Using Cielo Smart Thermostat
Step 1: Go to 'Menu' and select 'HVAC Settings'.
Step 2: Select 'Reconfigure your equipment'.
Step 3: Tap 'Start'.
Reconfiguring Equipment Using Cielo Home App
Step 1: On the Control Screen, tap on the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right corner.
Step 2: Tap on 'HVAC Settings.'
Step 3: Tap on 'Reconfigure Equipment.'
Step 4: Tap on 'Modify' and select 'Yes.'
⚠️ Warning: You are about to modify your current HVAC equipment configuration. Only proceed if you are certain about your system’s wiring setup. Incorrect selections may cause your system to function improperly.
Step 5: Select the terminals that have wires connected to them. Then tap 'Next.'
Step 6: You will see your newly configured HVAC equipment. Tap 'Next.'
Step 7: Based on your wire selection, this step requires you to select your heating source and determine how you want your system to work. Tap on ‘Next’ after you have configured these settings.
Step 8: Choose your preferred temperature unit (Fahrenheit or Celsius) and tap 'Next.'
Step 9: Personalize your desired comfort settings for Home, Away, or Sleep.
Once the process is finished, your new HVAC equipment is now configured.
💡 Tip: Reconfiguration is recommended only after changing any wiring connections, upgrading your HVAC system, or troubleshooting system issues.
