How Alexa Responds in Auto Mode
In Auto Mode, you can ask Alexa to change the temperature by saying, "Hey Alexa, set Cielo Smart Thermostat [device name] to [number] degrees.
Alexa will adjust both the heating and cooling setpoints so that your preferred temperature is the midpoint between the two.
For instance:
- Heating setpoint: 70°F
- Cooling setpoint: 74°F
The thermostat will then work to keep your home temperature centered around 72°F, switching between heat and cool as needed.
