With the Cielo Smart Thermostat, you can conveniently configure how your connected humidifier/ dehumidifier operates.
Humidity Thresholds
Humidity Difference
This is the minimum difference between your preferred humidity level and the actual indoor humidity that the thermostat considers before deactivating the humidifier/dehumidifier.
Operational Timers
Minimum Off Time
It defines how long your humidifier/dehumidifier should remain off before the thermostat can turn it on again.
Minimum On Time
This is the minimum runtime of your humidifier/dehumidifier before the thermostat can turn it off.
Note: A minimum value of 5 minutes is recommended for both minimum on-time and off-time to avoid short cycling and ensure smooth operation.
Cycle Rate
To calculate the cycle rate, take a sum of the values of the minimum on time & minimum off time. Dividing the sum by 60 gives you the cycle rate. You can adjust the on/off values to change the cycle rate. It may vary depending on the season and the type of equipment you have. Generally, a cycle rate between 3 and 6 is preferable.
