A Group (Zone) in the Cielo Home app is a feature that allows you to combine multiple Cielo Breez Edge devices into one group. Instead of controlling each device individually, you can manage them all together with just a single tap.
This is especially useful when:
- You want to turn all your units in a particular area (e.g., Living Room + Dining Room) on or off at once.
- You need to set up quick climate control for specific floors or areas (e.g., Second Floor, Garage).
- You want to save time and ensure consistent comfort without having to adjust each unit separately.
Important
- In the Cielo Home app, you can turn all devices in a group ON or OFF at once and view their cumulative history.
- To change the temperature setpoint, mode, or set a combined schedule for all devices in a group simultaneously, use the Cielo Web app.
Creating a Group
To create a Group in the Cielo Home app, follow these steps:
Step 1: On the Home screen, tap 'More' to access additional settings.
Step 2: Tap on the ‘Settings’ icon on the top right.
Step 3: Tap on ‘Move to Group.
Step 4: Tap on Create a new group.
Step 5: Give your group a name (e.g., First floor, Basement, etc.)
Step 6: Choose an icon.
Step 7: Tap on ‘Done’. Group is created successfully.
Adding a Device to a Group
Step 1: Once the group is created, you will be taken to the ‘Move to Group’ screen.
Step 2: You will see a list of all of your active groups. Tap on the group you wish to move the device to.
Step 3: You will see a check mark next to the group name. Tap on ‘Done’.
Removing a Device from a group
Step 1: On the Home screen, tap the group you want to remove your device from.
Step 2: Tap on 'More' to access additional settings.
Step 3: Go to the ‘Settings’ on the top right.
Step 4: Tap on ‘Remove from Group.’ Tap on ‘Yes’.
Device removed from the group successfully.
Editing a Group
Step 1: Tap on the ‘Settings’ icon of the group you wish to edit.
Step 2: In group settings, tap on ‘Edit Group. You can change the icon and name of the group as you desire.
Step 3: Tap on 'Done'.
Deleting a Group
Note: To delete a group, you have to remove all the devices added to it individually. You may not be allowed to delete a group otherwise. To delete a device from a group, refer to Section 3.
Step 1: Tap on the ‘Settings’ icon of the group you wish to edit.
Step 2: In group settings, tap on ‘Delete Group’.
