Cielo Breez Edge has its own built-in temperature and humidity sensors that display real-time temperature and humidity of the room. When Breez Edge is working in default mode, it does not make any decisions based on these readings, and the system relies on its own thermistor.
However, if you are using Comfy Max, Comfy mode, or Follow Me, it uses its built-in temperature and humidity sensors to take readings from the area where the device is installed.
It can then override the mini-split’s internal sensors and regulate temperature based on its own readings.
When Breez Edge relies on its in-built sensors, it allows for:
-
-
More accurate temperature control based on the actual conditions in your room.
-
Improved comfort, since the mini-split’s internal sensor may not always reflect true room conditions.
-
Better energy efficiency, as your mini-split doesn’t have to work harder to compensate for inaccurate readings.
